Interior Design
A Peruvian–Japanese tapas bar where two cultures share one room. Hand-strung red and amber thread walls, hand-painted murals, a hannya mask glowing in red light, and a ceiling built from refurbished pallets — a high-energy fusion that earns every detail on a tight budget.
The client, a chef, wanted to open a Peruvian and Japanese themed tapas bar and to express both of his cultures through the design. This was a very fun project where we had to go wild. The challenge was budget, so we found ways to use old materials and even refurbished things like pallets and used them as a ceiling.
